Kathryn has been a long standing instructor within the Department of Landscape Architecture and was honored to receive the CASNR Instructor Award in 2014, the university Raiders Who Rock award in 2017, and the President's Excellence in Academic Advising Award in 2018. Through course content and guidance, Kathryn is dedicated to the learning environment and leading students to succeed in the classroom. Most recently, Kathryn has been intensely involved with a freshly developed education structure coined “A Semester of Learning” in which students are exposed to content in a continuous workflow across several concurrent courses. Kathryn has focused her efforts in the graphic and digital communication of the landscape and is taking steps to advance student abilities to efficiently maneuver across a wide variety of platforms.
