Jose is an registered Architect by the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM) in Spain, and a registered Landscape Architect by the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects (BCSLA) in Canada. He earned his master’s degree in Architecture and Landscape Architecture from the University of Alcala de Henares in Madrid. Over the last 15 years he has develpeded his passion for creating resilient landscapes and sustainable architectural design and currently practices Architecture and Landscape Architecture at Francl Architecture Inc. in Vancouver, Canada. His expertise includes site planning and develpment, public parks, streetscapes and green infrastructure. His portfolio of Parks and Open Spaces includes a variety of public realm projects, from neighbourhood parks and event spaces to active transportation projects, environmental restoration interventions and master planning.
