Nancy Monteith is a Senior Landscape Architect for Salt Lake City Corporation. Her experience in public and private sectors has focused on creating socially and ecologically resilient landscapes. Nancy co-chairs Salt Lake City’s Sustainable Infrastructure Committee, a cross-functional team that collaborates on implementing sustainable infrastructure best practices. The committee recently updated the City’s sustainable infrastructure policy to require third party certification. This includes required SITES certification for landscapes, parks and plazas over $2 million in construction budget. Nancy has a master’s in landscape architecture from Utah State University and is a SITES Accredited Professional.
