Regional Director of Landscape Architecture
PEA Group
As Regional Director of Landscape Architecture at PEA Group, Violet oversees all aspects of the design, development and construction process. She has a broad range of project experience; from commercial retail centers and corporate headquarters to parks and high-end residential projects. She draws from this large base of knowledge when it comes to technical feasibility, budget and scheduling of project delivery.
Violet has worked for a number of award winning Landscape Architecture firms as well as started and ran her own firm for 5 years.
In her free time, Violet volunteers her time and expertise to educate others about the field of Landscape Architecture and Sustainability through various public projects and non-profit organizations, including designing and coordinating educational gardens for local elementary schools. She was recently recognized for her outstanding and commendable direct service to the American Society of Landscape Architects and the profession as a whole through the Kay Tiller Chapter Service Award.
Violet's desire to continue to learn and be a leader in her industry, led her to pursue the SITES AP accreditation. Through her experience working on a number of LEED certified projects, she always felt that when it came to the site and landscape portion of the project, there was so much more that could be done from a sustainability perspective. Violet is very excited to be a part of the first group of SITES AP.
